About The Show

What happens when you cross the most wonderful time of the year with the most magical fairy tale of all time? Pendle Productions in association with the Thwaites Empire Theatre present the spectacular professional family pantomime "Mother Goose".

Pendle Productions and the Thwaites Empire Theatre are renowned for their high quality pantomimes and this "Mother Goose" will dazzle and delight with sumptuous sets, amazing costumes, a Goose that has to be seen to be believed, and the fountain of wishes where dreams really do come true.

Our story starts in the woods where we meet the good "Fairy Virtue" and the evil "Fairy Vanity". The challenge is set to make Mother Goose vain and think more about her looks than her family. With ‘Silly Billy’, ‘Jack and Jill’ and the wicked Squire McNasty all your favourite pantomime characters will tumble onto the stage in glorious technicolour.

But how will our Goose save the day? And will good triumph over evil in the end? Don’t forget to BOO and BOO again every time you see Fairy Vanity up to her evil ways !

With all the elements that Panto audiences have come to expect - big song and dance numbers, lavish scenes, romance, comedy and lots of audience participation - Mother Goose is sure to be the ONLY pantomime to see in Lancashire this Christmas so book your tickets now before it’s too late!
